BAD BARD POETRY
Kenwyn Churchyard
No more peaceful, magical place
Are your footsteps bound to trace
Tranquillity envelops as you enter in
The sylvan beauty of Kenwyn.
Dappled light all about uncovers
Diverse beauties to discover
Shaded paths beckon and glimmer
And beyond, rolling vistas shimmer
Here awaits a different dimension
From the woe old gravestones mention
For morbidity is gone from here
To be there, is to bathe in cheer.
In dirge those souls all moved along
Now buzzing insects and birdsong ……
Complete this marvellous panoply
And immerse us in its majesty
There living wonders you will find
Imbued with calm and peace of mind
That draw all worldly cares away
And when contented, see you on your way.
