BAD BARD POETRY
Too many super yachts
Too many billionaires
And smug multi millionaires
Too many vulgar superyachts.
Don’t you wonder how they purloined
And snaffled what they got ?
One’s not enough, some have two or three
Anchored in the bay for all to see
Superyachts are a stain
Emblems of wicked times
Tips of the icebergs of legalised crimes
Splashing about, they sail right up your nose
Knowing they're paid for in businesses
Ruthlessly robbed and foreclosed
Too many superyachts reek of reckless plunder
Of livelihoods destroyed
And industries forced under
Let’s take a look at some of the names
On these trophies of crooks, who loot to gain
”Daylight robbery”,“Chicanery”, “Swindlers list”
“Corruption”,”Deception” and “We took the piss”
“Loaded”, “Ransacked” and “Oops,Gone under”
“Do it again”, “Brutality” and “Plunder”
“Ill gotten gains” and “Stashed overseas”
“Thanks for the pensions” and “We do what we please”
“Scott free”, “Greed” and “Avarice”
“Thanks taxpayer” and “Nothings amiss”
Too many superyachts, and they’re growing in size
They’re the pigs in suites trophies, who stole all the pies
Now they’re building them big as tankers
For the loathsome bunch of bandits and wankers.
Tie them to the mainmast and fetch the whip
Before they upgrade to a battleship
Grab their loot, confiscate their filthy lucre
Close their shell companies and banks,
Then over shark infested waters
Make them walk the plank
Superyachts are an insult, a spit in the face,
Symbols of our depth of descent and disgrace
Gaudy totems, hideous boasts
Cancerous tumours on a dying host
As welcome as turds in a swimming pool
Floating on the stolen goods
Of we cheated fools.
